Martin attends Castrol FloRacing Night in America Opener at Eldora
After a couple weekends off, Logan Martin returned to the driver's seat of his Mr. Dent Collison Repair No. 36 Late Model on Tuesday afternoon at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour opener.
In a stacked 27-car group, Logan qualified 22nd-fastest before gaining two spots in his heat race to finish sixth. With one more chance to make the $23,023-to-win main event, Martin recorded a 10th-place outing.
Switching gears to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Wednesday, Martin was unable to crack the feature event lineup after recording a seventh-place finish in his B-Main.
Joining the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series on Thursday at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the Seymour Showdown, Logan followed up the 11th-quickest lap in his group with a seventh-place outing in his heat. In his Last Chance Showdown, Martin made a bid for the Top-3 but faded late to finish outside of a transfer position.
Traveling to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday for the two-day Alabama Gang 100, Logan landed a Top-10 finish in his $4,000-to-win preliminary feature with an eighth-place outing.
With the prelim features setting Saturday's heat race lineups, Martin finished fourth in his heat and was unable to crack the Top-2 in his Last Chance Showdown, ending his night early.
