Pair of runner-up finishes in Comp Cams Super Dirt Series doubleheader at Poplar Bluff and Old No.1
Logan Martin rolled into Poplar Bluff (Mo.) Motorsports Park on Friday afternoon for the first leg of the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series doubleheader weekend.
Charging forward three spots in his heat race, Martin quickly made up ground in the 35-lap feature and led laps 13-26 before surrendering the lead back to Tyler Stevens in the closing laps. When the checkered flag flew, Logan found himself on the podium in second with Morgan Bagley rounding out the Top-3.
For Saturday's $5,000-to-win Cow Patty at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.), Logan rolled off seventh in the 40-lap feature and moved passed five competitors to once again land in the runner-up position. He trailed Morgan Bagley at the checkers while Jon Mitchell completed the podium.
Logan currently leads the CCSDS point standings with a 16 point cushion over Morgan Bagley.
